Artist's Description
A mix of old, repurposed, and new architecture in downtown Haverhill, Massachusetts. This view is from How Street, looking across Merrimack Street. Haverhill Beef is on the left, and a dentist uses part of the building on the right, both buildings more than a century old. A thrift store occupies an old Merrimack Street storefront. And The Heights, a new luxury apartment building dominates the skyline, overlooking the Merrimack River. A part of my photographic re-acquaintance with my birthplace, after being away 35 years.
