A monochrome interpretation of a raccoon in a tree hollow, eastern North Carolina. Raccoons are medium-sized mammal, native to North America. They are usually nocturnal and omnivorous. Three of the raccoon's most distinctive features are its extremely dexterous front paws, its facial mask, and its ringed tail.
