The red-fronted macaw (Ara rubrogenys), also known as Lafresnaye's macaw, is a parrot endemic to a small semi-desert mountainous area of Bolivia. It is an endangered species. This bird is sheltered at Berkshire Bird Paradise Sanctuary in Petersburgh, NY.
