Artist's Description
The Gateway Building is a barn near the entrance of Colonial Williamsburg, serving as a guest information stop. I was attracted by the simple lines of this colonial-era barn, and the starkness of the bare trees against a mostly clear sky on this mid-February afternoon. I chose a camera which records infrared, rather than visible light.
