The very first thing I noticed, photographically, as I approached my lodging, was Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church. At the top of a rise on a rural highway, it was isolated against the sky. Compositional simplicity and strength. Late winter in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Imaged with a camera modified to record infrared, rather than visible light.
