Description
An idle sugar shack in Lancaster, New Hampshire. During sugaring season each spring, sap collected from maple trees is brought to an evaporator in such a cabin, where it is gently boiled, condensing into delicious maple syrup. This late summer image was created using a camera converted to record infrared light, rather than visible light.
